The project presents an ambitious collaboration work between Ryohei Kondo, founder of contemporary dance company gCondorsh and Sengiku Bando, Japanese traditional dancer. Those two artists display two different worlds which mingle together in harmony on a stage setting..

Freely adapted from Chikamatsu Monzaemonfs gSonezaki Shinjuh(Double suicides at Sonezaki), this piece does not follow the traditional form of a dialogue play, but is turned into a wonderful show of dancing movements.
The piece is divided in three parts as in the original version. A man and a courtesan of a brothel, yukaku, love each other. With no prospect of success, this love leads them to the path to death, in the deep forest of Sonezaki.
